Dax only really had two shows this season [You Are Cordially Invited… and Change of Heart] and they were both with Michael [Dorn]. Other than those two episodes not very much happened to Dax this year. Maybe they wrote me light to see if I would give in and sign a contract, or maybe it’s really what Ira [Steven Behr] said, which is that some characters get a little lost in the shuffle. Sometimes the writers give a character a couple of big shows and that’s it. So I guess I loved the idea of Dax and Worf together, but only liked the reality of them being together.

That lovely moment when one half of your ~OTP~ does NOH8.
Thank you Dax.
I’m always telling Kira to relax. She’s Bajoran, so she has conflicts with all of us and how we see the world. Last night we shot a great scene where she tells me someone needs some of Dax’s meditation techniques because he’s a little tense. I say, ‘You could use them too, you know.’ It was such a great moment. If looks could kill. It was very funny. So, I’m always telling her to loosen up.
Hopefully, they’ll develop that relationship between us. They’ve talked about Nana and I having scenes of what they like to call female bonding, which I think would be great.
